Creating Object Specific Actions for Salesforce Mobile
- Example: “New Child Opportunity” action on the Opportunity object
- Added in the “Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions” section of the page layout
- If you have created an object-specific action from the “Buttons, Links, and Actions” of the Object Manager, but the action has not appeared, it is likely because the action has not been added to the page layout.

- Edit Layouts for actions by clicking in to the “Buttons, Links, and Actions” section of the of the object manager, then clicking Edit Layout
Customizing the Salesforce Mobile Navigation Menu

- Customize via: Setup > Apps > Mobile Apps > Salesforce > Salesforce Navigation

- Purpose of Compact Layouts is to give mobile users key info “at a glance”
